Welcome to Lite Raise, a platform operated by Literaise Inc. ("Lite Raise," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Intellectual Property
Lite Raise retains ownership of all platform content, features, and functionality. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only. Commercial use requires written permission from Lite Raise. Users may not modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content.
2. Use of Services
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Prohibited activities include legal violations, intellectual property infringement, use of automated systems to access the platform, and any actions that disrupt the security or functionality of our services. Lite Raise reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Fundraising & Campaign Management
Campaign Owners bear full responsibility for the accuracy of their campaigns and regulatory compliance. Lite Raise does not guarantee the success of any campaign. All donations are considered final unless a refund is legally required. Refund requests should be directed to the Campaign Owner, not to the platform.
4. Data Privacy & Security
Your use of our platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. Lite Raise disclaims liability for third-party service integrations and their handling of your data.
5. Copyright & DMCA
Lite Raise complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a claim to copyright@literaise.com.
6. Account Deletion & Data Retention
Users may delete their accounts at any time. Upon deletion, Lite Raise may retain certain data as required by legal obligations or legitimate business requirements, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Lite Raise does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure access to the platform.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lite Raise, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Lite Raise's total liability exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Lite Raise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Macomb County, Michigan. By using our services, you waive any right to a jury trial.
11. Changes to These Terms
Lite Raise may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
